Heat a mini snack pan or a non stick pan. Check if batter needs some more water. Pour batter in all grooves if using mini pan or a ladle of batter in a nonstick pan. When one side is lightly brown and leaving the edges, flip it.

  1. First of all take 1 cup white urad dal and 3 cup rice.wash and soak for 5 hours.after it in a mixer jar make finely paste.and keep batter little thick than dosa batter.kerp this batter for rest for 5-6 hours.
  2. Now take a piece of aluminium foil and fold and make cookpad logo and make stensil.now add salt and ginger chilli paste in batter.and put the stensil on hot nonstick tawa and pour batter.now add finely chopped tomato,onion and sprinkle some finely chopped fresh coriander leaves.cook for a while and put oil around the utappam and remove stensil.now cook it both the side and serve with coconut chutney.

Pour batter in all grooves if using mini pan or a ladle of batter in a nonstick pan. When one side is lightly brown and leaving the edges, flip it. Press with a spatula and cook on medium heat till crisp from outside and soft inside. Sprinkle red chilli powder on top. Serve hot with coconut chutney and mixed pickle.
