  1. Clean prawns and deveined It carefully or pre cleaned deveined prawns can be used / also frozen prawns can be used but need to thaw it, get the room temperature)
  2. Marinate prawns with1/2 lemon juice and salt for few minutes
  3. Prepare marination of all ingredients mentioned like tamarind paste, chille powder, salt, ginger garlic paste, asafoetida etc. use one tsp oil in marination
  4. Marinate all the prawns for 5 minutes meanwhile spread semolina/ suji / rava on a plate.
  5. Heat tawa / pan / skillet, put 2-3 tbsp oil / butter, skillet shout be super hot before you put oil
  6. Take one prawns and cover it with semolina, roll it from all sides and make sure that it is semolina is stick to prawn, shake it to remove excess semolina. Do it for one by one for each prawn
  7. Fry each prawn in batch of 6-7 depending on size of skillet, keep gap between each prawn.
  8. Fry for 2 minutes of each side, flip it when needed, on low-medium heat. Or low heat.
  9. As you see prawns colour is changed and they take a round shape, it means they are cooked. Don’t over fry or cook for long otherwise prawns will be chewy and not crisp.
  10. Garnish with other 1/2 lemon squeeze and fresh coriander leaves
