The ingredients needed to make Instant Pot Chili:
  1. Take 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  2. Get 2 tsp garlic
  3. Prepare 1 can light red kidney beans
  4. Get 1 can black beans
  5. Take Large onion diced
  6. Take 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
  7. Get 15 oz can tomato sauce
  8. Take 1 package McCormicks chili seasoning
  9. Take 15 oz can rotel original
  10. Take to taste Salt and pepper
  11. Prepare 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  12. Take 1 cup water
Instructions to make Instant Pot Chili:
  1. Sauté ground beef in oil in the instant pot. Add onions and cook until translucent. Turn off sauté function. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add seasoning and mix through ground beef mixture along with a cup of water.
  3. Add in beans, salt and pepper and stir.
  4. Add rotel, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce on top. Do not mix.
  5. Secure instant pot lid and make sure the vent is sealed. Set on manual for 10 minutes then let pressure release naturally.
