  1. Wash and soak split yellow moong dal for 3-4 hours.
  2. Discard soaked water and grind soaked split yellow moong dal in wet grinder to smooth batter.
  3. Add salt, green chillies ginger paste, asafoetida to moong dal batter. Mix well.
  4. Add black pepper powder and mix well.
  5. Keep water to boil in big vessel for steaming dhokla. Divide moong dal batter into 2 portions. In one moong dal batter add 1/4 tsp soda bi carb. Mix well. Pour into prepared greased thali to make thin layer.
  6. Place this dhokla thali on stand kept in big vessel. Cover and steam for 5-7 mins.
  7. Remove the steamed dhokla thali. Cut into squares pieces.
  8. Serve Delicious Hot Yellow Moong Dal Dhokla with Green Coriander Chutney.
