  1. Wash and soak the rice and dal for 30 mins. Take a cooker add ghee, cumin seeds, chillies, cinnamon stick, bay leaf and stir it for 20sec.
  2. Add the strained rice and dal stir it for 1min. Then add salt and turmeric powder and 2 cups water. Mix it well. Cook it up to 2 whistles in a medium flame.
