  1. Make ready 1 cup Rice
  2. Prepare 2 cups Green Gram Split (Green Moong Dal)
  3. Prepare 2 tsp Gram flour
  4. Take 2 tsp Semolina
  5. Take 3-4 Green Chilles
  6. Get 3 Garlic pods
  7. Take 1 tsp cumin seeds
  8. Prepare 1 cup chopped Coriander
  9. Get as per taste Salt
  10. Prepare 1/2 cup water
  11. Prepare 1/2 tea spoon Baking soda
  12. Prepare 1 tsp oil
  13. Make ready 1 tsp white sesame seeds
  14. Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Instructions to make Rice and Green Gram Split Dal Handva:
  1. Soaked Dal and Rice for 4-5 hrs. Take a grinding jar add Dal- rice, green chillies, garlic pod to it and grind it coarsely.
  2. Take it out the mixture in a bowl. Keep a side for 15 min. Now add semolina and gram flour for a bind and mix it properly. Keep aside for 1/2 hr.
  3. After 1/2 hr. Add water, salt and coriander to the mix.
  4. Mix it well. Now add baking soda and whisk it properly. The batter will become Pluffy and frothy. Now put a non stick pan on slow flame. Add oil.
  5. Once the oil get hot add sesame seeds. Oñce it crackled add red chilli powder.
  6. Before the Chilli powder get burn add half of the batter to it. Spread it and close the lid. It take 5 min to get it done from one side
  7. After 5 min open the lid. The handva is done from one side and also it get pluffed. Flap the handva on pan so the other side also be done properly. Close the lid again for 5 more min.
  8. Serve hot with Ketchup.
